On February 10, 2024, the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Consulate General promoted various mainstream newspapers in Nigeria such as Vanguard, the Guardian, Punch, ThisDay, the Sun, the Nation, and local Chinese newspapers such as West Africa Chinese Newspaper, West Africa Chinese Newspapers, West Africa Business Weekly, and so forth to dedicate a special page to wish the people of China and Nigeria a happy Chinese New Year of the Dragon.
